You are so resourceful when wanting to have fun. When Gong Gong needed to use the treadmill, he took the cardboard box off and placed it against the bed. So you went to ask Ma Ma to come into the room so that you could climb up the slanted cardboard so that you could slide down.

Here are two videos of you and Noah.

Noah had to put on his onesie because it was getting chilly. Once he put it on, he wasn't able to climb up the slide because it was just too slippery! Here's the video...it was funny watching him try to climb up even though he kept slipping.

It was fun watching you two enjoy the ghetto slide.

We haven't posted in quite a while

Dear Avery,

We haven't posted in quite a while. You are three and a half years old now! Time goes by so fast. You now have a little sister. You wanted to name her Purple, but we compromised on Alexis. You call her Lexus. You are an amazing big sister, so gentle and nurturing. Sometimes you do crush her with your big hugs and don't realize that you are still to small to pick her up or that you cannot move her by pulling on her head, but you try your best to take care of her. We know you will be best friends when you are older.

We just came back from a weekend trip to Vegas. You and Noah had tons of fun together. We took the tram back and forth, you loved pushing the buttons on the elevator. It was hot but you still seemed to still run around and wreck havoc with Noah.

It's time for mommy and daddy to sleep now.

The Beauty Love Left Behind. A mark for every breath you took, every blink, every sleepy yawn. One for every time you sucked your thumb, waved hello, closed your eyes and slept in the most perfect darkness. One for every time you had the hiccups. One for every dream you dreamed within me. It isn't very pretty anymore. Some may even think it ugly. That's OK. It was your home. It's where I first grew to love you, where I lay my hand as I dreamed about who you were and who you would be. It held you until my arms could, and for that, I will always find something beautiful in it.
